It's been a tough few years for business in Big Sur. In 2016 the Sobreanes Fire (the most expensive wildfire in US history) burned over 130,000 acres of pristine nature and in 2017 a devastating landslide buried almost a mile of Highway 1, closing many businesses. I took a drive down Highway way 1, just to see how far I could go and saw how lush and green everything is, especially with the fog, it's very dreamlike. After my drive, I knew I wanted to shoot in Big Sur. Dream catchers were inspired from the mystical fog and the wildflowers were inspired from the rolling hills covered with them that I found on my drive. This elopement is nontraditional, bohemian, and beautiful.

Hey, I'm Kelley

I'm in love with sunsets, my husband, finding the best happy hour, and telling love stories through images. When I'm not capturing weddings, you can find me hiking in Big Sur, wine tasting in Carmel, or hanging out on the couch with my man. Thank you for checking out my blog, we're practically best friends already.
