Engagement sessions are always fun for me because my couples get the chance to get really creative. I always suggest some of my favorite locations but for Taylor and Bree's session they wanted to go back to where they met and where they had their first date. It was such a great opportunity for me to see where their love story began. Our first stop was their favorite bar - just to warm up for their session - then we walked down the street to where they use to live. While we were on our trip down memory lane we stopped in for pizza which is where they had their first date!

We had a great time and ate some pizza of course (hello college!) and I seriously can't wait for their wedding at the beautiful Rava Winery in September. Keep scrolling to check out some of my favorites.

It's always special when I get to photograph my friends. I met Ryan and Annika over 4 years ago at an art show and we've been friends ever since. They have been together for over a decade so you can imagine my joy when I found out they were engaged, in fact, I think I literally jumped up and down screaming. So when Annika called me up and asked me to be her wedding photographer it was truly one of the greatest feelings ever!

We spent their engagement session in downtown Monterey where they went on their first date! It was so special being able to spend time with them and I seriously can't wait for their fall wedding. Keep scrolling to check out some of my favorite shots from their session. The beautiful bouquet was made by the extremely talented Cassia Forêt.

Hey, I'm Kelley

I'm in love with sunsets, my husband, finding the best happy hour, and telling love stories through images. When I'm not capturing weddings, you can find me hiking in Big Sur, wine tasting in Carmel, or hanging out on the couch with my man. Thank you for checking out my blog, we're practically best friends already.
